Shipping policy

Items are delivered direct from our UK suppliers' warehouses. Delivery times and methods vary by item and are stated on each product page.

Where we deliver

We deliver to addresses in mainland Great Britain.

What it costs and how long it takes

The delivery cost and delivery time for each item are on its product page. The full delivery cost for your postcode is shown at checkout before you pay.

Smaller items are usually dispatched within a few working days. Garden buildings and larger furniture can take longer.

If no delivery date is given, we will deliver without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of your order. If we cannot, you can cancel for a full refund.

Orders from more than one supplier

Items from different suppliers arrive separately, each with its own tracking. We email you as each part is dispatched.

How larger items arrive

• Smaller items come by courier and can usually be left with a neighbour or in a safe place.
• Garden furniture and bigger packs may come on a pallet by tail-lift lorry. The driver lowers it to the ground and moves it as close as is safe, usually to the kerbside or your drive. A pallet truck cannot cross gravel, grass or slopes.
• Some larger pieces come with a two-person crew, who carry them from the lorry to an agreed spot. The distance varies and is stated on the product page.

For larger deliveries someone usually needs to be at home, and the carrier contacts you to arrange the day. If access is restricted, for example a narrow lane, a steep drive or a side gate, ask us before you order.

When it arrives

Check your delivery when it arrives. Count the packs against the delivery note before the driver leaves. If anything is damaged, note it on the paperwork, take photos and email hello@yardandfield.co.uk as soon as you can. This does not affect your legal rights.

Tracking

We email tracking details once your order is dispatched. If a parcel shows as delivered but has not arrived, tell us.
