A shed or a summerhouse is a big buy and you'll live with it for years, not just the day it turns up. Two buildings can look identical in a photo and be completely different after a couple of winters.
That's why we choose on the things that decide how long it lasts - the timber, the treatment, the frame and the fixings.
What we look for
- Built for British weather. Materials and finishes that take wet winters and hot summers.
- Honest specifications. Real sizes and real materials, so you know exactly what you're choosing.
- Responsibly sourced timber. We ask where the timber comes from and whether it's FSC or PEFC certified.
- Straight advice. Clear answers to the questions that matter before a big garden purchase.
